THE HOUSE

I SAW IT ON A SATURDAY, AND BY THE WEDNESDAY I HAD BOUGHT IT. IT WAS THE QUICKEST (AND BIGGEST) DECISION OF MY LIFE, BUT I WAS READY TO TAKE IT ON.

Due to my hasty purchasing (my unit wasn’t even on the market when I bought the semi), I had a one month period during which I owned both properties. I’m a true believer in things happening for a reason and this was no exception. It allowed me to sand and stain the floorboards and paint the lounge and second bedroom so I could live in relative prettiness while the reno took place.

Let me take you through it. The bones are good but okay, I know….it needed a lot of help!

Just stumbled over here from Sonia’s blog :)

I’m a bit of an addict to those before and after renovation type pictures so really excited to see what you do with the house and all of your ideas and tips along the way!

Thanks Melinda and thank you for coming along for the ride. The house is almost there – just need the finishing touches so stay tuned. It’s the styling that’s slowing me down!
